Remember we need Refs. It's a thankless job but we really need help.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct & Game Misconduct Penalties 

The no whining rule will be strictly enforced this season. That means whining to the ref about a call or lack of a call will get you an automatic 2 minutes. Most of the time we only have 1 ref and he can't see everything. If the Ref on the rink doesn’t send you to the box I’ll blow the whistle and give you the penalty myself. Slamming your stick on the rink surface or the boards will be called an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Any player given a game misconduct penalty will sit out the rest of the game and may face a 1 game suspension after a meeting of the league officials

Substitutions 

If a team has 4 or fewer players from their roster they may use substitute players to keep the game competitive and allow for 1 change. If a Team only has 3 or fewer players from their roster then game maybe forfeit but will be played with subs. All Substitutions must be of the same skill level of the missing players and should be PAID members of the league. Players who help Ref will be given preference when Substitutions are needed. The scorekeeper has the final say on subs

Fighting 

Both players involved in a fight will get an automatic 1 game suspension for the first offense. 2^nd offense is a 3 game suspension and a 3^rd offense will get you expelled from the league until the High Country Sports Arena Board decides you can return

Fees 

If Fee's aren't paid or other arrangements made by the 3rd week players will not be allowed to play until their accounts are brought current.

We prefer that you pay online so that we have a back up record of who has paid but you can give Mark or Steve a check made out to HCSA at the rink.

Remember we are a non-profit totally run by volunteers and we need to make sure that we collect all the fees to ensure that the rink will be open in the future.
